- Problem
- The Client had an existing product line for years based on thru-hole design and an older, unsophisticated micro controller. The Client wanted to move towards SMT manufacturing, add a 3 phase motor controller, as well as provide more inputs and diagnostic capabilities to their system.
- Solution
- Anidea Engineering created a 90% SMT design for the client with the 3 phase motor controller which also supported the Clients existing single phase motor configuration. The move to SMT also allowed Anidea to add 6 more optically isolated inputs for the client as well as two 7 segment displays for diagnostics.
- Benefit
- The Client was able to improve his product design and has the room for future expansion in his new product platform.
